JOB PURPOSE
The Manager, Digital Campaigns is a strategic relationship manager and a proficient digital fundraising specialist.

Under the direction and guidance of the Director, Corporate Relations, this role is responsible for managing the giving technologies portfolio, managing executive level relationships and related projects within the United Way British Columbia (UWBC) annual campaign.

This position works with internal and external stakeholders to implement year-round digital campaign strategies to meet UWBC's resource development financial and engagement goals.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.


Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising


  • Creates and maintains value based relationships with a portfolio of some of UWBC's highest value accounts while maintaining net positive retention and furthering fundraising objectives.
  • Develops and implements the digital campaigns strategy to achieve revenue goals including, but not limited to, the provision of information, expertise, and advice on campaigns.
  • Analyzes data, prepares, and implements plans for account and donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
  • Manages an effective feedback loop for donor needs through crossfunctional interactions with Community Impact, Marketing and Fundraising teams.
  • Delivers regular Impact Presentations and Reports to demonstrate the value of our partnership to the donor base.
  • Regularly maintains and updates content to ensure top of page positioning within the platforms.
  • Tracks and monitors account performance and results (using Key Performance Indicators) on a yearround basis towards establishing a strong microgiving and corporate giving pipeline with annual recurring revenue (ARR).
  • Builds, maintains, and manages relationships with giving platforms, accounts, and key individuals looking for ways to further our fundraising and engagement objectives.
  • Is hyper focused on providing exceptional donor lifecycle experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Volunteer Support


  • Leads and supports Campaign Associates during campaigns. This includes training, orientation, supervision of fundraising strategies, and taking necessary steps to identify and resolve problem issues that arise.
  • Provides information, fundraising expertise, and advice on digital fundraising strategies to corporate partner volunteers and stakeholders using giving technology platforms.
  • Provides fundraising support to executive volunteers and campaign volunteers.
  • Encourages and attends volunteer opportunities for enhanced donor engagements.

General

  • This position is seasonally responsible for the daytoday supervision of Campaign Associates and Summer Students
  • May participate in community engagement or fundraising events and activities.
  • Maintain a high Net Promoter Score (NPS) from stakeholders in the portfolio.
  • Performs other duties related to the qualifications and requirements of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education:


  • Four (4) year degree in an applicable discipline (Digital Marketing, Business, etc.)

Experience:


  • Three (3) years of customerfacing experience in a B2B/Enterprise environment as a Customer Success Manager, Account Executive/Manager, or Digital Sales Executive
  • Experience working with volunteers at various levels in the community is preferred.
  • Experience with fundraising best practices is preferred.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to create and maintain good working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to coordinate and direct the work of volunteers and to followup in ensuring work plans are fully executed.
  • Demonstrated ability in accounting, with careful attention to detail when analyzing and evaluating financial reports.
  • Demonstrates collaboration skills, selfmotivation, and passion for exceeding partner expectations.
  • Advanced communication and relationship leadership skills, with the ability to effectively navigate organizations and champion joint partnerships.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform optimally in ambiguous environments.
  • Displays proactive donor/partner management skills with a drive to promote revenue and growth.
  • Highly effective at leading and facilitating executive meetings and workshops.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in account planning, managing and executing partner success plans.
  • Is adaptable to changing work environments with a growthoriented mindset open to both receiving and providing feedback.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Valid Class 5 license and access to a vehicle is required.
