    Description

    Job Opportunity: Temporary Drilling Rig Worker

    • Work Term: Temporary
    • Work Language: English
    • Hours: 84 hours per week
    • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • Experience: 3 to 5 years

    Work Environment

    • Outdoors
    • At heights, in confined spaces
    • Handling dangerous, wet/damp, noisy, odorous, hot, and cold/refrigerated conditions

    Work Setting

    • Staff accommodation provided in a remote Offshore drilling rig location

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in maintaining drilling equipment
    • Handle, sort, and move materials
    • Clean rig areas
    • Supervise crew members
    • Identify and mitigate natural risks

    Certifications and Training

    • WHMIS Certificate, H2S Awareness Certificate
    • Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, First Aid, Fall Arrest, and Forklift Operator certifications

    Security and Safety Requirements

    • Medical exam, Drug test, Criminal record check, Valid passport

    Transportation/Travel

    • Willing to travel with expenses covered by employer

    Work Conditions

    • Fast-paced, physically demanding environment
    • Handling heavy loads, with attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
    • Large workload with repetitive tasks
