    THE OPPORTUNITY:


    Highbridge Human Capital is pleased to be leading the search for our client who is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Equipment Maintenance Manager to join their team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operational efficiency of all production equipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and longevity of an equipment fleet.

    The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills to effectively manage a team, a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance, and a deep understanding and commitment to safety protocols.


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Equipment Maintenance Oversight:
    Coordinate maintenance and repairs on all aggregate crushing equipment and rolling stock equipment.
    Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy tailored to the specific needs of the equipment fleet.
    Efficiently manage repairs to minimize equipment downtime, ensuring optimal "equipment readiness".

    Planning & Resource Allocation:


    Utilize CMMS to facilitate seamless scheduling and resource allocation, ensuring the right tools, people, and equipment are available for successful maintenance operations.

    Strategically plan, track, and communicate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime.
    Coordinate preventive maintenance tasks with production schedules, optimizing workflow efficiency.

    Inventory and Parts Management:
    Maintain accurate inventory and parts records, ensuring optimal stock levels to avoid delays in maintenance work.

    Exercise sound judgment in purchasing decisions, considering factors such as quality, pricing, and availability to minimize delays in maintenance work.


    Safety:
    Enforce safety protocols and cultivate a culture of safety adherence within the team.
    Manage, document, and track all incidents and hazards in a timely and accurate manner.
    Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

    Ensure strict compliance with all customer safety standards, environmental regulations, and reporting requirements, actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement in safety performance.


    Documentation and Reporting:


    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of equipment work orders, schedules, and parts inventory within CMMS, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

    Utilize data analytics to monitor equipment performance and reliability, proactively identifying trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.

    Facilitate comprehensive documentation of licenses, inspections, warranties, and service agreements for all equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing asset management strategies.


    Team Leadership:
    Provide effective leadership and guidance to all direct reports, fostering their individual development, motivation, and performance.
    Cultivate a collaborative and safety-focused work environment, promoting engagement and morale among direct reports.

    Administer disciplinary measures in a fair and consistent manner to address substandard performance, while conducting probationary, quarterly, and yearly reviews of direct reports.


    Vendor Relations & Invoicing:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, project managers, and vendors, ensuring alignment with their needs and expectations.
    Coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, matching invoicing with work performed.
    Negotiate favorable pricing on parts, services, and inventory, leveraging vendor relationships to optimize cost-effectiveness.

    Weekly Management Meetings:


    Provide valuable input and actively participate in weekly meetings, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize repairs and maintenance in alignment with production schedules.


    Facility Management:
    Assume ultimate accountability for facility maintenance of all relevant sites.
    Implement proactive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal functionality and safety of facilities, enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing disruptions.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in the mining or construction industry.

    Proven track record of progressively increasing responsibility in maintenance management roles, with demonstrated success in optimizing equipment performance and minimizing downtime.

    Strong leadership abilities with at least 5 years of direct experience in effectively leading and motivating cross-functional maintenance teams.
    In-depth knowledge of heavy machinery, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
    Familiarity with advanced maintenance management software, with the ability to leverage technology for optimal maintenance planning and resource allocation.
    Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess and address unexpected equipment issues to maintain production efficiency.

    Track record of prioritizing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and training sessions, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

    Financial acumen with the ability to manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
    Proven ability to foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment, promoting engagement, morale, and accountability among direct reports.

    TOTAL REWARDS:
    Salary $140 - $200K, based on qualifications and experience.
