The Jim Pattison Auto Group is looking for a temporary full-time Marketing Specialist to cover a 12-18-month maternity leave.


Job Summary:


As a supporting member of the Marketing Department, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing marketing initiatives for the Jim Pattison Auto Group and its affiliated dealerships.

The Marketing Specialist also executes routine promotions and ensures these projects are on schedule, on message, and co-op compliant, as necessary.

In addition, this role may provide administrative support.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain all Auto Group dealership websites and microsites, ensuring standards and accuracy.
  • Regularly maintaining offers and department specials on websites in a timely fashion.
  • Marketing support for all retail dealerships and brands.
  • Main point of contact for Aftersales advertising.
  • Assist with other marketing functions as required.

Requirements:


  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and is experienced in working with external agencies and partners.
  • 12 years' experience in marketing, business or communications required.
  • High School diploma.
  • Selfstarter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organization.
  • Collaborative personality and a cando attitude.
  • Automotive and retail marketing experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and business relationship skills.
  • Proven strength in task coordination and project management.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office mandatory, Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Ability to work in a complex matrix environment with tight deadlines and a strong adaptability to change.
