EastGen is looking for up to 3 energetic individuals with a passion for the dairy industry and/or background in agriculture to work as an EastGen Intern with our AI Technicians.

This summer internship will be from May to August 2024.

We are looking for individuals in or close to the following geographical areas:

Western Ontario:
Regional boundaries include

Lambton, Norfolk, Niagara, Halton, Wellington, Waterloo, Huron

Central Ontario:
Regional boundaries include - Bruce, Peel, York, Dufferin, Hastings, Peterborough, Simcoe

Eastern Ontario:
Regional boundaries include - Lennox and Addison, Leeds and Grenville, Prescott, Renfrew

You will learn:

The role of AI Technician on farm
Provide AI services
Promote farm and agriproducts to current and prospective customers
You will learn from our Dairy Solutions Specialists, Reproductive Specialists and Sales Representatives who use leading research and innovative technologies to provide valueadded service to our customers

To be successful you will have:

Passion for the dairy industry and a keen interest in cattle
Knowledge of the agriculture industry
Keen interest to learn and develop your skills and knowledge
Excellent organization and time management skills
Valid Ontario driver's license and clean driving record
Flexibility to work rotating schedules which include some Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

All required training and equipment will be provided for this full-time opportunity.
