Description

TheCertified Journeyman Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining,troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.

This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to workindependently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Install,maintain, and repair mechanical systems and industrial machinery, includingmotors, pumps, conveyors, fans, and other equipment.
Performpreventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensureoptimal performance and minimize downtime.
Read andinterpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan and executetasks.
Utilizeprecision measuring instruments to ensure accurate and precise installation andmaintenance.
Troubleshootand diagnose mechanical issues, proposing effective solutions for repair andmaintenance.
Work withother tradespeople, such as electricians and welders, to complete projects andensure the smooth operation of equipment.
Maintainaccurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and servicereports.
Assist withthe installation of new equipment and machinery, ensuring proper setup andcalibration.
Provenexperience as a millwright, with a strong background in mechanical andindustrial maintenance.
Proficiencyin reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Familiaritywith safety standards and regulations related to industrial maintenance.
Physicalability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or at heights.

Additionalcertifications related to welding, machining, or electrical work would be anasset.
