While COVID-19 has surely impacted the way that we do things, our work is not slowing down.

Our network of 3,000 (and counting) young people across Canada are as busy as ever, and our staff of 90 humans and 3 dogs are working just as hard.

Reporting to the
Marketing Manager, Philanthropy, the_ Officer, Marketing and Communications _is a strong marketer that will design and execute creative strategies to support our fundraising and program initiatives, as well as brand marketing.

Working closely with internal teams, in this role you will be a central node for bringing marketing campaigns to life and reporting back results to facilitate learning and discussion.

You will also manage agency relationships.


You'll join a collaborative team of strategists, creative professionals, storytellers, mental health advocates, and passionate marketers to lead the building and continuous improvement of the brand that will impact youth everywhere.


In this role, you will be:
Marketing (50%)

  • Supporting the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including working to brainstorming ideas, creating content and setting up campaigns with the aim of driving results for fundraising, program promotion and branding.
  • Assisting with online advertising campaigns by working with agencies to create ad copy, set up campaigns on platforms like Google Ads or social media ads, and monitor ad performance.
  • Assisting with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts, including keyword research.
  • Keeping up to date with digital marketing trends and new technologies to stay competitive and suggest innovative ideas.
  • Monitor trends in the youth and fundraising communities, and recommend adaptations to marketing strategies as necessary
Evaluation (10%)

  • Monitor Google Analytics Performance and report back findings and recommendations to optimize campaigns while they are live.
Project & Team Coordination (40%)

  • Coordinating the daily operations of the Marketing team to ensure campaign success, including the review of approval requests for internal and external communications (i.e. media releases, articles, posters, etc.), marketing project proposals, creative briefs, promotional and partnership events, etc.
  • Supporting internal teams in the execution of events like Jack Ride and fundraisers, partner relationships, programs, and marketing and communications content.
  • Working with internal team members and external stakeholders, such as design, communications, Programs, and Development to ensure teams are aligned on schedules, roles, and goals.
  • Leading agency relationships on the planning and execution of campaigns, including for awareness, acquisition, engagement and retention.
  • Ensuring projects are within budgets and on time.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing or relevant experience
  • Experience with digital marketing and project management is a strong asset
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Highly collaborative and strong relationship builder comfortable using influence to elevate programs
  • Basic copywriting as needed
  • Proven track record of being able to deliver on organizational targets
  • Preferably technical skill proficiency in Pardot or other marketing automation solutions (ActiveCampaign, Freshmarketer, Hubspot, Sharpspring)
  • Strong analytical skills and datadriven thinking with experience conducting data analysis and reporting for marketing campaigns
