    We are currently seeking a qualified System Safety Review Panel (SSRP) Coordinator to join our team, based out of Toronto, ON. The SSRP Coordinator will be responsible for formal record keeping and support the efficient operation of the Ontario Line System Safety Review Panel (OL SSRP) an opportunity to work with the Integrated Project Team (IPT) for the Ontario Line Subway (OLS) Project in a Delivery Partner role within an integrated team with the customer organization for a Subway Project in Toronto, Ontario. The project scope includes the design build, operations and maintenance of all infrastructure and rail systems associated with 15 stations and over 15km of new alignment, being performed by two key PPP Contractors and multiple advanced early works (EAW) packages Contractors and two large Progressive Design Build Contracts. The scope includes both managing the Works associated with the program and with the individual construction projects.     Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a meeting calendar for the OL SSRP including clinics and endorsement meetings, that support the timely review of incoming documents.
  • Maintain formal and auditable records including meeting minutes and a decision log for the OL SSRP.
  • Author monthly SSRP report, as per the requirements of the Metrolinx Assurance regime.
  • Create and maintain a tracker or database for endorsement conditions by the panel and provide status reports until resolution.
  • Manage the timely distribution of Project Company submissions and other briefing documents to the SSRP members.
  • Liaise as needed with representatives from various bodies and functions involved in SSRP submissions, including but not limited to document control, assurance managers, other SSRPs, and the MSCC.
  • Assist in the collection of data and forecasts related to the OL SSRP.
  • Extend support to any emerging sub panels of the OL SSRP
  • Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management or related field or in lieu of Bachelor's Degree relevant experience in engineering design, construction or infrastructure industry; qualifications in construction, project management, project controls, document control or technical writing are desirable. Relevant experience guideline: 5 years.
  • A general understanding of engineering and construction procedures, principles, and concepts.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering, assurance, whole project life cycle and its implementation on large railway infrastructure projects is an asset.
  • Experience working with teams and stakeholders in the development and delivery of large infrastructure projects. Ability to communicate across different technical disciplines (e.g. engineering, construction, testing & commissioning).
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Fluent in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, Microsoft Forms and smartsheet is desirable.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including with senior management, and proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined team.
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills both verbal and written.
