Description
To be able to run the line proficiently, along with assisting the Chef with daily operations and food preparations while keeping a safe and clean working environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute daily kitchen operations
- Proficiently run the line for daytoday restaurant orders
- Food prep for all types of functions
- Maintain clean and sanitized and organized working area at all times
- Prepare foods according to the menus and contracts
- Assist Chef with receiving androtating stock
- Ensuring supplies are available
- Responsible for cleanup duties at end of shift
- Maintaining all Kitchen equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance.
- Preparing recipes as directed
- Setup and tear down of food related stations for events
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Must be available for various shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays and late nights
- Able to work with a team and independently
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficient knife skills
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and functions
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary:
$18.50-$22.50 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
