- Work closely with City departments and the City's Director of Strategic Growth and Manager of Communications/Stakeholder Relations to manage the content of the City's public websites
- Perform back-end website maintenance, maintain effective documentation and ensure that proper backups are kept
- Work with staff to help support and maintain internal sites
- Improve websites through site design improvement and functional enhancements
- A recognized post-secondary certificate in a related field
- 3 years' experience managing and developing websites and content
- Proven experience as a webmaster or web developer
- Working knowledge of website management tools and web hosting platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to generate creative ideas
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and able to generate creative ideas
