Warehouse Shipper/receiver - North York, Canada - Ideal Quilting Limited

Description

Familiar with both domestic and US shipping procedures, including preparation of customs paper and bill of lading. Must have internet experience and be able to process online shipping. Able to effectively communicate with courier and trucking companies, i.e. FedEx, UPS, and LTL. Well-organized and able to work efficiently with team members.


JOB RESPONSBILITIES

• Update status of inbound and outbound orders using tracking logs
• Coordinate packing and shipping of all goods, including assembling packages
• Resolve discrepancies between orders and goods, such as delays, condition, quality, etc.
• Assist with maintainance of inventory
• Provide packing and shipping supplies (ie. boxes, bags, skids, etc.) to inspection team
• Crossreferencing purchase orders against the packing labels
• Ensuring all finished goods ready for shipment are catalogued
• Notify management of the need to order shipping supplies as required
• Perform general housekeeping tasks within the shipping & receiving area
