What you'll be doing


As
Talent Acquisition Specialist reporting to the Head of Human Resources (North America) and the Global Talent Acquisition Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the acquisition of top-tier talent to meet the strategic and operational needs of Rhenus in both Canada and the U.S.

This key position is integral to the success of our organization as we aim to build and sustain a high-performing workforce across North America.


You'll contribute by:

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with hiring managers, department heads, and cross-functional teams to understand their talent requirements. Provide guidance on recruitment best practices, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Vendor Collaboration:Collaborate closely and maintain positive relationships with approved Agency partners/vendors, ensuring they represent the Rhenus brand well and continue to remain productive with hiring needs when used.

Market Insight and Adaptation: Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and changes in labour dynamics within the region. Utilize this insight to adapt and execute recruitment strategies, lead co-op/intern programs and career fairs, and ensure that Rhenus Logistics remains agile and responsive to evolving talent landscapes.

Enhance Employer Brand: Work collaboratively with the marketing team to enhance and promote Rhenus Logistics' employer brand in the Region. Develop and maintain a positive online presence through various channels, showcasing our culture, values, and career opportunities.


What skills & experience you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • CHRP designation or currently in the CHRP program
  • Minimum three years' experience delivering full cycle recruitment with excellent knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing best practices and networking
  • Superior behavioural interviewing skills with a proven track record of successful placement
  • Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. hiring laws, regulations, and cultural nuances
  • Excellent speaking and written communication skills in English with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
  • Superior organization skills with very strong attention to detail
  • Excellent negotiation skills with ability to influence others
  • Collaborates extremely well with others and works with little direction or supervision
  • Proficient in using/implementing applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Experience using Workday is a strong asset
