Vancouver Premier Contracting is one of the lower mainland's premier landscape contractors. Working from our equipment yard / office in North Vancouver we complete all kinds of residential landscape installations & maintenance from single family homes to luxury estates and playgrounds

Operation of 11 speed dump truck with airbrakes as well as Automatic transmission Hooklift bin truck
Loading, transport and some use of various types of machinery skidsteers, excavators, tracked dumpers, forklifts, snow equipment etc
Working semi outdoors throughout all seasons sun, rain, snow
Snow removal in the winter using plow trucks, ATV's, skid steers etc.
Communicating with the crew and management on the execution of projects / deliveries.
Airbrake endorsement or Class 3 or Class 1 License

General Responsibilities:

Maintain and clean trucks, equipment and tools
Proper care / daily maintenance and equipment checks to dump trucks / equipment
Produce 40 hours of work per week year round
Assist in various receipt & data tracking to help with billing and build on existing systems / procedures
Good fit with and desire to build on Vancouver Premier Contracting's culture

Requirements:

Experienced in the operation and use of and maintenance machinery (bobcats, excavators etc.)
Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
Ability to follow safe working procedures
Strong team player that values and wants to continue to build a great team a environment
Works well under pressure, and able to handle a high paced environment
Valid BC driver's license
Legally allowed to work in Canada

Compensation & Perks

Competitive wages ($30.00 hr. $40.00 hr.) dependent on experience and accreditation
Company vehicle & fuel card
4x day work week (3 day weekend)
Monthly cell allowance
