Key Responsibilities:


  • Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent patient and prescription information
  • Clerical duties including completing all records, documentation and patient or third party billings/charges, preparing receipts, invoices, letters, memos and general filling
  • Fill prescriptions in a fastpaced setting, including blister packages.
  • Accurate dispensing prescription medications
  • Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
  • Answer phones and general OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
  • Handling customer prescription pick up
  • Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
  • Keeping a safe, comfortable and clean work environment
  • Possess a positive team spirit in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards while delivering superior customer service
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Strong motivation to succeed and a willingness to learn is required.
  • No Experience is Necessary.
  • Training in our storespecific system will be provided.
  • Medical background _can_ be asset.
  • Strong customer support skills able to maintain a professional demeanor when speaking with our customers.
  • Remains calm under pressure and is able to meet tight deadlines.
  • This position requires a significant degree of selfstarting and independence in an everchanging environment.
  • Must have open availability. Must work evening and weekend shifts.
