    To execute the calculations and analysis required for financial and management reporting and provides support to the actuarial production of work.

    Responsibilities:
    • Conducts financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
    • Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve issues.
    • Focuses on more complex insurance products, (e.g., Segregated fund).
    • Leads/participates in the design, implementation, and management of core business/group processes.
    • Collaborates with the team to plan tasks effectively and manage projects efficiently
    • Implements controls and checks to validate results and ensure accuracy.
    • Supports internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
    Qualifications:
    • ASA with at least 5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum of 3+ years' actuarial experience in life insurance.
    • In-depth understanding of Corporate Reporting Process.
    • In-depth knowledge of various systems (Moody's AXIS, Excel, Access).
    • In-depth knowledge of IFRS17.
    • In-depth product knowledge of Traditional, Term, and Universal Life products.
    • In-depth knowledge of Segregated Fund is preferred.
