THE POSITION
The Maintenance Scheduler role is essential to ensuring that maintenance activities are scheduled for execution based on risk, priority, and resource / equipment availability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Keyera's Maintenance Work Processes specifically around the maintenance scheduling process.
- Maintain an overview of the planned maintenance work backlog and prioritize when to bring the work into the schedule for execution.
- Keep informed of work execution constraints due to operational requirements.
- Keep informed of craft availability to be able to build a 100% loaded Maintenance Schedule.
- Create Draft Weekly Schedule in preparation for Weekly Scheduling Meeting.
- Prepare all content for Weekly Scheduling Meeting and invite all required stakeholders.
- Chair / conduct Weekly Scheduling Meeting and obtain approval of schedule.
- Update work orders post Weekly Scheduling Meeting.
- Communicate / publish Approved Weekly Schedule.
- Monitor progress of current week's scheduled work.
- Create and maintain medium and longrange maintenance work forecast's.
- Coordinate and lead monthly review of planned work order backlog with Operations, Maintenance, and stakeholders.
- Maintain strong working relationship and communication with Planner, Leads, Technicians, Operations, and Support Teams to ensure optimization of OE 4.03 Maintenance Work Processes Standard requirements.
- Review OE 4.03 Maintenance Work Processes KPI's monthly and take corrective action on negative trends Experience, Skill, and Qualifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Journeyman Trade and Operational experience will be considered an asset.
- Experience in Planning Multidisciplined trade activities in a live operating environment would be considered an asset.
- Planning and Scheduling training & certification and/or MMP (PEMAC) designation would be considered an asset.
- Skills in assessing and prioritizing work based on risk, critical systems and equipment requirements, project commitments, age of work orders, resource availability, and customer satisfaction.
- Experience with Maximo and or Primavera 6 would be an asset.
- Welldeveloped computer skills with Microsoft Office products and planning experience with a CMMS (Maximo).
- Selfstarter with a demonstrated ability to quickly develop & maintain strong collaborative working relationships.
- Solid communication skills both verbal & written.
- Able to demonstrate a strong personal alignment with Keyera's Values and Cultural Behaviours.
