Position Summary
We are looking for an Operational Strategy Specialist based at our North York office.


This role will be responsible for driving Nestle to value creation and zero waste, executing best processes to achieve sustainable results.


A day in the life of an Operational Strategy Specialist:

As an Operational Strategy Specialist, you will be responsible to align lean initiatives to business needs and priorities through leadership engagement at all levels of organisation and act as a catalyst to accelerate implementation of lean mindset and skillset.


You will:


  • Work with the business units and functions to organize and streamline the cost savings initiatives (OpEx) and operational reviews to accelerate continuous improvement initiatives
  • Drive Annual Cost Savings and Opex Pipelines through facilitation of Business Review on a monthly basis
  • Identify Business Driven competency building needs in the business units or functions, maintain repository of tools/reference material, and work in collaboration with L&D to deliver 70/20/10 plan
  • Coordinate businesses and functions to autonomous level on Goal Alignment/Foundational practices
  • Responsible for coordinating and supporting the business unit or function during reviews of cost saving initiatives along with developing standard process for the team
  • Report to key stakeholders and ensure consistent, clear communication of the work being done: support copilots for the business unites, coordinate monthly reviews, provide insight, support dashboard reporting, schedule meetings with project teams, participate in various projects
  • Collaborate with the Business/Function and Operational Strategy BP to provide an ongoing continuous improvement process
  • Promote and align methodology and approach, including Operational Strategy Teams resources to the priority Initiatives.

What will make you successful?

You will also require:


  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Completion of College Diploma or University Degree in a related field
  • Strong computer skills, advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power point
  • Demonstrated problemsolving and leadership skills as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to excel at working within a team environment
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail with strong initiative, customer service focused attributes
  • Excellent prioritization and communication skills
  • Experience in Industrial Performance is an asset
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fastpaced environment.
