Responsibilities:


  • Use interpersonal skills to assist in the management of the supervising executive, including taking minutes of staff meetings and maintaining an uptodate calendar of staff activities.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare reports, read and summarize pertinent literature, and present staff reports to executives.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals., either in writing or verbally.
  • Gather and analyze data; prepare statistical tables, charts and graphs; interpret data using computer software.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing financial information to determine the agency's financial position.
  • Assist in the development of the agency's operating and capital budgets., including preparing financial projections for presentation to senior management; making recommendations concerning budget allocations., including suggesting cuts in spending or outside services that can be eliminated or contracted out.
  • Analyze proposed legislation for financial impact on state agencies; work with other agencies to ensure that proposed bills that may affect the agency are included in legislative analyses prior to introduction.
  • Analyze contracts for compliance with state.

Pay:
$25.50-$29.57 per hour
