Description


The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for looking after customer requirements by providing high levels of customer service, and problem solving in sales.

The Inside Sales Account Manager identifies and secures new opportunities and a drive to build on the company's success.


Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads
  • Proactively following up on sales quotes, sales opportunities and providing solutions for the customer
  • Emphasizes product features based on analysis of customer needs and technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
  • Processing sales orders using the Microsoft Navison.
  • Responding to customers inquiries about status of orders, payments, and credits
  • Supporting management with general operational functions such as troubleshooting internal issues between departments and following up on back orders/shipping related issues.

Requirements:


  • Post-Secondary Educations in Business or Marketing
  • Minimum two three (23) years of inside sales experience (business to business)
  • Experience in Fire Protection product knowledge is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to provide excellent customer service, able to interact with all levels in a professional, positive manner, able to build relationships and be a team player
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines and achieve goals and objectives
  • Excellent negotiation skills coupled by inherent ability to sell to customer needs

Working Conditions

  • Office environment observing all COVID19 safety protocols.
  • Ability to attend presentations and meetings.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required.
