Job Duties:
Ensuring a safe and efficient function of the shop
Hands on assistance in fabrication of roof trusses
Complete daily schedule, station assignments, training
Supervise shop employees
Assists senior management in various duties
Maintaining time and attendance for shop staff
Responsible for quality control
Ensure clean and organized work areas
Develop, train and coach shop staff
Maintain and/or service all shop equipment
Proactive communication with all depts. To ensure job flow quality
Required Skills:
Minimum 3 years experience in a Manufacturing Plant
Ability to coach, train, and motivate staff
Valid drivers license
Able to lift up to 75lbs
Able to stand for long periods of time
Work well with others
Prior leadership roll experience
Carpenter experience an asset
Job Type:
Permanent
Salary:
$24.00-$29.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Guelph/Eramosa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
