' opportunity at Silvera for Seniors. It is a
6 months contract based at our Bow Valley Commons Community located in Bridgeland. What is so exciting about this position is that you get to work and support our Supportive Living Communities. Shift Timings:

Monday to Sunday from 7:00am to 3:30pm OR 10:30am to 7:00pm (80 hours of work per pay period and 8.5 hours every shift).



(Shift times vary and the applicants must be available for all times as shown below. Shifts are any day of the week, Monday to Sunday inclusive).


This position reports to the Culinary Supervisor providing support services to the Dining Services team in the preparation and delivery of food.

This position will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and preparation of the food.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Responsible to serve meals and beverages in a polite and professional manner, responsible for food preparation and clean up duties in the kitchen.
  • Responsible for the daily/weekly cleaning, cleaning and setting up the dining room and staff room
  • Completes documentation of required tasks
  • Reports any unsafe work conditions to the Community Resident Manager or designate
  • Responsible to assist with the receiving and stocking of all food, nonfood supplies, and chemicals

Desired skills:


  • Previous serving experience of at least one year
  • Flexible, willing and positive attitude
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Ability to effectively work independently or within a team
  • High safety and hygiene standards
