What is the opportunity?


As the Administrative Assistant supporting Commercial Financial Services, Vice President Asian Diversified Team, and Regional Manager Commercial Banking Advisors, you will provide in-depth support in day-to-day management of the team in Greater Toronto Region.

The primary purpose of this role is to help maximize their time against top priorities in the market, impacting client loyalty, employee engagement, and business results.

You will proactively recommend and implement changes to improve efficiency, assist with reporting analyses, and build relationships with internal partners to support the VP's and RM's work.


What will you do?

  • Plan and monitor critical aspects of the market, such as operating expenses, staff cost budgets, the business unit's recognition programs, client and staff event management, and internal regional communications processes;
  • Provide support to plan, organize and administer the calendar and ensures prepreparation for all bookings;
  • Prioritize time against the highest impact activities;
  • Actively manage incoming and outgoing correspondences and act as a point of contact between executives and employees/clients;
  • Support with risk and compliance requirements, transit routines, and overall market office operations;
  • Prepare for weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews & routines, including electronic documentation management and all information reporting; and
  • Coordinate technical aspects of onboarding of new hires, including equipment orders and system access setup.
  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

years' experience providing administrative support at the executive level.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms.
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problemsolving with strong decisionmaking capability.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, clients, external partners and donors.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly resourceful teamplayer, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
  • This individual should also be capable of doing event planning, be able to collaborate with Regional office on different projects/initiatives related to Diversified Asian Markets
  • Mandarin speaking language capability
