Position Overview:


As an Automotive Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in our dealership's success by providing expert guidance and support to customers in need of automotive parts and accessories.

You will be responsible for ensuring that customers receive the correct parts for their vehicles, delivering exceptional service, and contributing to overall customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct automotive parts and accessories for their vehicles.
  • Provide accurate product information, including specifications, compatibility, and pricing.
  • Process orders efficiently and accurately, utilizing our inventory management system.
  • Collaborate with the service department to fulfill parts orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts department, ensuring that inventory is properly stocked and labeled.
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Stay uptodate on industry trends, new products, and advancements in automotive technology.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience working in an automotive parts department or related field.
  • 23 years of automotive parts would be an asset
  • Experience with CDK would be an asset.
  • Must be able to lift between 5080lbs
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, including their function, compatibility, and pricing.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in automotive parts is a plus.
