We are seeking an individual ideally with a fire services background to train building staff, floor wardens and occupants in fire safety and other hazard emergency procedures e.g.
fire, earthquake, bomb threat etc.You must be available to commit to training dates up to 2-3 months in-advance and be available to train during weekday business hours.
Suitable part-time business for active or retired Firefighters.Instructor training and guidance is provided but some level of instructor training experience is required, as well as the following skills and attributes below:
- Passion to educate and promote life safety
- A professional, good communicator and speaker
- Some knowledge of the local fire safety planning regulations is helpful
- Own a good working laptop computer (WPS can provide a projector if required)
- Own a smart phone (iPhone or Android) that can be used to demonstrate our custom developed app in the training session
- Own reliable transportation
- As part of your training you will be introduced to building fire safety and multihazard plans and company developed PowerPoint training programs.
This is part-time contract work (as needed) and you must be available to perform the training sessions on a weekday and during business hours (M-F).
