Our Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team.

This role has the ability to work from our Kelowna, Kamloops, Vancouver, Calgary, or Saskatoon office full-time, with the opportunity to travel.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this position is accountable for developing and managing the "talent pipeline" essential to Allnorth successfully achieving its business objectives.


Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in defining and maintaining the assigned recruitment requirements and strategy to meet them
  • Guide and assist internal hiring Managers on recruiting and sourcing alternatives appropriate for their business
  • Participate in university career fairs to help build our Coop/Student Pipeline
  • Provide coaching to hiring manager on market conditions, competitive human resource landscape and effectiveness of recruitment strategies for the company
  • Support internal clients with interview best practices

Requirements:


  • Post Secondary degree / diploma in a related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in full cycle recruitment
  • Experience with high volume recruitment, particularly in the construction or engineering industry being an asset
  • Experience with Coop/Student recruitment would be considered an asset
  • Strong organization and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop, maintain and nurture strong relationships with clients by listening, understanding and responding to identified needs as required
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and function independently
  • Ability to work effectively with others outside the line of formal authority and use appropriate interaction skills and methods to guide others to decide or accomplish their goals
