Job Role:
The Quotation Specialist produces and delivers detailed quotations, targeted sales presentations and concept designs for custom tooling packages to current and prospective customers

Responsibilities:

Become a product champion for ODC by developing a thorough understanding of our products and services in order to effectively respond to customer inquiries and create new opportunities
Reconcile customer requirements with quotation and negotiate differences to both parties' satisfaction
Possesses strong numerical skills and has an analytical mindset

- prepares accurate quotes for pricing and builds estimates for special items by gathering information and analyzing material and job costing.

Support and backup for automotive tooling sales lead, as required and during absences
Work effectively with sales, project management, engineering, purchasing and manufacturing staff as required for successful project delivery
Communicate with customers; technical details and requirements, delivery objectives, quality objectives, etc.
Identify risks and road blocks to successfully being awarded projects and work with sales team and management to resolve
Maintain good relations with all customers as the internal ODC contact
Communicate and maintain good rapport with all staff members
Additional duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:

Quotations or sales experience from the automotive tooling industry (tooling supplier or tier 1 automotive supplier)
Tool & Die and automation experience required
A technical background with the ability to conceptualize detailed mechanical concepts
Excellent customer service, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Excel and PowerPoint) and CAD programs (Catia preferred)
Must be willing to learn and use software packages for sales and quotations (Navision, SmarTeam, etc.)
Highly motivated selfstarter who can work independently with mínimal supervision
Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities and timeframes.

Requirements:

Excellent time management, organization and thrive in a fastpaced environment

Work Experience: Minimum 3-6 years' experience in a similar technical quoting role (interacting with external customers)

Tooling/automation manufacturing background
Strong analytical and data management skills
An excellent command of the English language as well as written skills.
Willingness and ability to travel within North America, as required.
Periodically respond to emergency customer impacting situations after hours
Able and willing to travel within North America
