Arnprior Regional Health is currently seeking a
Manager, Physiotherapy. Reporting to the
Vice President Finance &
Support Services, CFO, the Manager Physiotherapy is responsible for the provision of Physiotherapy services within the hospital and Grove LTC home and the management and operation of the department and its functions by performing the activities of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the department's physical, financial and human resources in accordance with departmental and hospital objectives, policies and standards.


The incumbent will oversee the provision of treatment, education and management of patients/residents/clients by the team, through assessment of the patient/resident, establishing a physiotherapy diagnosis and prognosis, developing and recommending an intervention strategy, evaluating the effectiveness and interventions to restore optimal function and terminating the treatment when deemed necessary.


As part of the Management Team, the Manager Physiotherapy will carry out the responsibilities above and in the interest of patient care and service, will be fully knowledgeable and committed to understanding and abiding by the corporation's mission, vision and values while complying with applicable policies/procedures to include but not limited to, code of conduct, health & safety, confidentiality/privacy, risk management and quality improvement.

Additionally, the manager will be responsible for seeking out revenue generating opportunities to enhance the physiotherapy program to meet the needs of our community.


Qualifications for this position include:


  • Graduate of an accredited physiotherapy university program
  • Registered under the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Minimum of five years experience as a staff physiotherapist
  • Previous supervisory experience with management training
  • Masters in Business or Health Administration preferred.

  • Ability to organize and coordinate physiotherapy programs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Able to effectively prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fastpaced environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Working knowledge of the Standards of Practice, College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and accreditation Canada standards and guidelines

Salary range:
$109,987.42 to $123,065.80 annually
