Responsibilities:


  • Schedule appointments and visit existing and potential customers to review product needs and determine other opportunities
  • Manage and grow current customers in the territory
  • Understand and grow product knowledge and relate local market intelligence to effectively help set store inventory
  • Travel within the lower mainland daily to contact stores, Outside Sales, and customers within the region
  • Deliver excellent customer service while meeting the needs of all customers
  • Public speaking in sales situations talking to a room of peers or customers
  • Work diligently with fellow staff at the store, region, and organization levels in order to find the right solution for our customer
  • Build customer loyalty through continuous innovation, becoming a trusted advisor
  • Effectively leverage network to assist in sales cycle development
  • New store inventory set up
  • Assist the Outside Sales team in growing market share within the foreign nameplate category
  • Ongoing store line code expansions
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the customer; ensure that there is also a positive relationship with store personnel
  • Maintaining cleanliness

Qualifications:


  • Previous related sales experience is preferred
  • Superior customer service skills, both on the phone and in person
  • Automotive parts knowledge is considered an asset
  • Ability to work as part of the Lordco team
  • Proficient time management skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to adhere to the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program
  • Ability to learn and relate product knowledge to automotive professionals
Pay range $60k-$100k/annually + commission, based on experience
