Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments and visit existing and potential customers to review product needs and determine other opportunities
- Manage and grow current customers in the territory
- Understand and grow product knowledge and relate local market intelligence to effectively help set store inventory
- Travel within the lower mainland daily to contact stores, Outside Sales, and customers within the region
- Deliver excellent customer service while meeting the needs of all customers
- Public speaking in sales situations talking to a room of peers or customers
- Work diligently with fellow staff at the store, region, and organization levels in order to find the right solution for our customer
- Build customer loyalty through continuous innovation, becoming a trusted advisor
- Effectively leverage network to assist in sales cycle development
- New store inventory set up
- Assist the Outside Sales team in growing market share within the foreign nameplate category
- Ongoing store line code expansions
- Maintain a positive relationship with the customer; ensure that there is also a positive relationship with store personnel
- Maintaining cleanliness
Qualifications:
- Previous related sales experience is preferred
- Superior customer service skills, both on the phone and in person
- Automotive parts knowledge is considered an asset
- Ability to work as part of the Lordco team
- Proficient time management skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to adhere to the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program
- Ability to learn and relate product knowledge to automotive professionals
