The primary purpose of the Inventory and Supply Chain roll is to develop and lead a best practice procurement and inventory control team that delivers a sustainable flow of resources into and out of the businesses operations.


  • Leverage Group buying power and take up Group opportunities for alignment where net benefit to earnings is tangible at the point of sale.
  • Maximize inventory sales and reduce inventory holding.
  • Optimize cost and availability of raw material, stock and consumables.
  • Consolidate goods and services providers to single accounts where practical.
  • Consolidate billing processes where practical.
  • Deliver dashboard supply chain reporting and analysis (including opportunity and risk) at a minimum monthly (fortnightly for projects).
  • Bring new products to catalogue and purge old.

Education and Experience

  • Successful applicant shall have 5+ experience in a similar roll
  • University or College education in Business Admin or Commerce required
  • Experience with the steel industry and steel grades

Job Types:

From $80,000.00 per year
