Job Title

Agricultural Labourer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control reported insect, disease and weed problems in deciduous trees, ferns, perennials, berry bushes, fruit trees, seasonal plants, and ornamental trees, shrubs and hedges.
• Determine the type and quantity of stock to grow.
• Establish work schedules for staff.
• Hire, train and supervise staff members.
• Order necessary materials and stock.
• Supervise staff in planting, transplanting, feeding, and spraying activities.

Work Environment:

The work site environment is hot with odours, and employees are expected to work outdoors.

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.

Physical Demands:

• A combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
