Description

We currently have a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to be a valued member and key contributor to our Accounting Team.

Under the direction of the Controller, the Accounting Analyst will be responsible for all duties related to the full-cycle Accounts Receivable function, ensuring accurate revenue is applied through the verification and completion of receivable transactions.

Responsible for the daily activities associated with the Accounts Receivable function
Responsible for data entry and reconciliation of all customer cash, cheques, and electronic receipts in a timely and accurate manner
Responds to customer credit inquiries & conducts verifications
Works with customers to reduce account receivable delinquencies
Acts as a backup to Accounts Payable and other accounting related functions as required
A post secondary education in the accounting field
~1-3 years of applicable work experience
~ Understands basic accounting principles and concepts
~ Knowledge of accounts receivable/payable functions
~ Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other accounting related software
~ knowledge of Navision would be considered an asset

Must be flexible, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities, objectives and deadlines
Willingness to support other members of the accounting team
