Field Service Technician - Abbotsford, Canada - 4AG Robotics

Description

As a Senior Field Service Technician at 4AG Robotics Inc., you will be a key player in the deployment, maintenance, and support of our sophisticated robotic systems in the field.

Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our robotic equipment on farms across the world.

Initially you will be supporting the pilot robots deployed in Abbotsford, BC, but as we deploy robots around the world you will be expected to travel to customer locations primarily in Canada, Europe, US, Australia, New Zealand, and other countries or regions as needed.

• Lead the installation, configuration, and calibration of agricultural robotic systems at customer sites.
• Conduct indepth diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of complex mechanical and electrical issues to optimize system performance.
• Provide comprehensive training to customers on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our robotic technology.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to provide feedback on product performance, reliability, and serviceability.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of service activities, including service reports, technical bulletins, and parts inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact system functionality.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations while working in the field.

• Certification in robotics, mechatronics, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience as a field service technician, with a focus on agricultural or robotics systems.
• Expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and softwarerelated issues in robotic equipment.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems effectively.
• Effective communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally extensively and work in diverse indoor and outdoor environments.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
