    Description

    FortNine is a rapidly growing motorcycle and powersports e-commerce powerhouse. Join a team of multidisciplinary experts passionate about making an impact on this industry and redefining how people shop in Canada

    This position will assist our creative team in the production of visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or advertise as well as develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, and digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design and ready to keep brand consistency across platforms

    This position will have a schedule consisting of ~8-16 hours per week, with an initial contract of 6 months, with the possibility of extension

    Please note that we are currently exclusively searching for Montreal-based applicants. Out-of-province or country applicants are not currently being considered.

    Responsibilities:

    • Brand Design applications

    • Concept creation

    • Design composition

    • Brand standards and consistency

    • Photography production and editing

    • Typographic rules application

    • Design Trends

    • Marketing email creation

    • Web asset creation

    Skills:

    • Ability to share ideas in a dynamic, team-oriented environment

    • Ability to learn and have an excellent eye for design along with the capabilities to produce quality work while respecting deadlines

    • Strong design, composition, and typography sensibilities, and a vivid understanding of whitespace.

    • Strong brand identity knowledge

    • Ability to design across multiple (digital and print) platforms

    • Knowledge of web technologies

    • Organizational skills and attention to aesthetics and detail

    • Ability to simultaneously manage numerous files and projects

    • Team player, resourcefulness and capability to work autonomously

    • Excellent command of Mac Environment and Adobe Creative Cloud

    • Ability to take photos

    • Adobe Lightroom skills (an asset)

    • HTML and CSS knowledge (an asset)

    Job Requirements:

    • Degree/Diploma in graphic design or equivalent experience

    • English & French: Excellent written and verbal skills

    • Portfolio required

    • Montreal-based

    • Solides sensibilités en matière de conception, de composition et de typographie, ainsi qu'une connaissance approfondie de l'espace blanc.

    • Connaissance approfondie de l'identité de marque

    • Capacité à concevoir sur plusieurs plateformes (numériques et imprimées).

    • Connaissance des technologies web

    • Sens de l'organisation et souci de l'esthétique et du détail

    • Capacité à gérer simultanément de nombreux dossiers et projets

    • Esprit d'équipe, débrouillardise et capacité à travailler de manière autonome

    • Excellente maîtrise de l'environnement Mac et d'Adobe Creative Cloud

    • Capacité à prendre des photos

    • Connaissance d'Adobe Lightroom (un atout)

    • Connaissances en HTML et CSS (un atout)

    Exigences du poste :


    • Diplôme en design graphique ou expérience équivalente.

    • Anglais et français : Excellentes aptitudes à l'écrit et à l'oral

    • Portfolio requis

    • Basé à Montréal
