Description

The Finishing Sales Representative/Estimator will be the main point of contact for clients and will ensure that all deadlines are being met while maintaining Igloo Building Supplies' standard of quality.

The position requires the individual to develop and maintain existing relationships with Builder Partners. The individual will work closely with other departments within the company to ensure information regarding builder accounts is communicated. This position will specialize in finishing material including moulding, interior doors and hardware, focusing on residential construction.

KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up pricing and create estimates for projects and specifications
Complete and submit quotes, process orders, and create installation documentation
Knowledge of product lines and pricing with the ability to demonstrate technical understanding of the products
Resolve client complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions to ensure complete customer satisfaction; communicate with client throughout entire project
Data input into our software with all relevant information on estimates and sales
Communicate with Company's relevant departments and installers onsite; troubleshoot problems when required. Coordinate all missing items with dispatch when required.
Manage billing, deliveries, install dates and change orders in our software
High level of knowledge of the estimating process for all designated builder accounts and communicating new products, pricing or processes between clients and the estimating team
Communicate with inside and outside operations to ensure the requirements of the builder/project/subdivision are being met.
Resolve Builder Partner or builder customer's concerns and complaints in a courteous, professional manner
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must maintain a high level of product knowledge and installation methods
Familiar with basic computer systems, file structures and operations
Excellent sales skills

Demonstrated professionalism and integrity while consistently acting in an ethical and fair manner

Education and Experience Required

Previous experience in construction is required
Postsecondary education is preferred but not required
