Compensation Analyst for our Toronto location.
  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Compensation, the Compensation Analyst will support the daytoday compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where you will contribute to OPG's public outreach, engagement and education efforts as part of the company's commitment to growing its social license.
    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Assist with administration of compensation programs, including analyzing compensation market trends and surveys, preparing for annual yearend compensation planning, drafting communications, performing cost analyses, and supporting collective bargaining initiatives.
  • Support with providing guidance and advice on compensation decisions and communication in partnership with the business
  • Maintain technology platforms for system improvement implementation, user testing of system changes, and coordination with HR Systems and IT teams.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation to support compensationrelated audits and reporting requirements.
  • Compile, analyze, and present compensation data, trends, and insights
  • Prepare reports on compensation metrics and trends to support decisionmaking
  • Monitor Compensation Inbox to provide support to employees and managers regarding compensation inquiries, issues, and concerns
  • Provide support to the Compensation Team with adhoc tasks and special projects as required

EDUCATION

  • University Degree or Post-Graduate Certificate in a related field (an asset)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of experience as a Compensation Analyst or similar role
  • Strong experience with Excel (Lookups, Pivot Tables, Index Match, etc.)
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Possesses a growth mindset and a strong drive to enhance compensation practices.
  • Innovative mindset focused on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Agile and adaptable in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical proficiency
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of HRIS/compensation systems an asset, preferably SAP SuccessFactors
