Steel Fabricator / Fabrication Technician

We are currently looking for an experienced Steel Fabricator or Fabrication Technician to join our team We are a supply only structural steel fabricator, servicing both the Canadian and US markets.

As a single source fabricator, we work closely with our customers to find innovative solutions to complex problems, and we deal with customer concerns promptly and efficiently.

Shift timings:

Laira Rd and Hanlon pkwy, Guelph

$26 - $28/ hour (Depending upon Experience)

Morning: 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM (Mon-Fri) (Must be present at 6:50AM)

Qualifications:

Experience with overhead crane and lift truck is an asset (training will be provided for the lift truck
NO license required)
Experience welding structural steel components (CWB certificate an asset, either expired OR current)
Good understanding of metal fabrication
Experience in fabricating handrail, stairs, columns ad beams
Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings.

Strong organizational skills
Team Player

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

MUST be able to read and interpret structural steel blueprint drawings.
Comfortable using fabrication shop machines and tools (impact gun, grinder, painting steel)
Interview before Required (to understand the work, tour the shop, and get tested on structural steel blueprint dwg. reading)

MUST BE RESPECTABLE and professional (no swearing, must work well with the team and respect the members)

Job Types:

Salary:
$26.00-$28.00 per hour
