Job Summary
You will complete a variety of duties in the preparation and distribution of meals to service units as per the requirements of that Correctional Center along with sanitation and cleaning tasks. You will wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables per the preparation schedule. Prepare cook or pan food as per prep schedule Count weigh and measure ingredients for assigned food production area Store food in designated areas following wrapping dating food safety and rotation procedures Portion meal trays special diet trays as per meal schedule Load deliver collect unload meal service carts to the pods Perform general cleaning duties including carts trolleys dishes pots Maintain storage areas in a clean orderly manner Work efficiently handle all equipment products safely Cash register operations meal ticket procedures Perform other duties during off service hours required Any reasonable request assigned directed management suitable timeframe About you Grade 12 equivalent combination education training experience Must pass maintain clean criminal record Possess Food Safe level certificate provincial equivalent Ability communicate effectively written verbal English language Physical ability perform job related tasks Ability operate related equipment Have excellent interpersonal organizational skills Practice good personal hygiene Effectively give receive instructions Compass Group Canada committed nurturing diverse workforce representative communities within operate Encourage pleased consider qualified candidates without regard race colour citizenship religion sex marital family status sexual orientation gender identity aboriginal status age disability persons require accommodation apply For accommodation requests hiring process contact further information
