About the Opportunity:


Reporting to the Director, Primary Health Care, Family Practice and Chronic Disease Management, Central zone, the Operations Consultant is responsible for working with the broader Primary Health Care (PHC) team to advance the strategic and operational priorities of the portfolio.

The Consultant, Operations, has a responsibility for supporting the coordination of the planning, development and implementation of the activities assigned under the direction of the Director.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Baccalaureate degree from a health discipline/health science field
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration, Health Services Administration preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 35 years working experience and responsibilities in a senior coordinator position or equivalent
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, delivery and evaluation of PHC and community based initiatives
  • Experience within a health related environment preferred
  • Experience in a primary health care / communitybased setting preferred
  • Experience in program and service development, implementation and evaluation required
  • Knowledge of disease prevention, health promotion, chronic disease management, and population health preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership in facilitation with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle; requires travel across the zone
  • Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset

Hours:


  • Full time long assignment ;75 hours biweekly
  • Approximately 15 months
  • Shifts may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
