Job Summary
Working within a high performance team setting, the Estimator / Sales Rep will assist with finding, analyzing, completing and following up with material quotes for tenders, along with various inside and outside sales activities.

Job Duties
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor and attitude at all times.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and product knowledge.
- Assist in monthly physical inventory counts where required.
- Search, review and analyze public tenders through various channels.
- Prepare material estimates for tenders through the full reading and understanding of the tender documents / request along with project drawings.
- Following up with contractors in terms of quoting, sales and fulfillments.
- Build, nurture and source relationships with new and existing contractors to ensure Devron continues to be a trusted partner within the industry.
- Working and maintaining relationships with municipal contacts and consulting engineers
- Assist with Front Counter and Walk in sales as required.
- Responsible for developing a target account list with a strategy.
- Responsible for efficient and precise flow of paperwork through the office.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Construction Sales Manager.
Job Requirements
- A designation of / or in process of obtaining a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.)
- Experience in construction estimating
- University or College education with a background in Civil Construction Management or related field is preferred
- Previous Sales/Marketing experiences in construction and/or construction materials
- Experience using CAD and other associated programs
- Understanding of Inventory Reports Database
- Experience with physical inventory control and counting
- Sales Planning and Reporting
- Knowledge of Logistics
- Good basic math skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working Conditions
