Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
  • Utilize estimating software such as AccuBid to accurately calculate project costs
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate estimation of materials and resources required
  • Review and interpret blueprints using tools like Bluebeam to identify project requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in construction estimating
  • Proficiency in AccuBid or similar estimating software
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar software for blueprint analysis
  • Ability to build accurate estimates based on project requirements
