Position Details

Title of position: Project Coordinator

NOC: 22300 – Civil engineering technologists and technicians

Location of Work: Windsor, Ontario and across Canada

Office Location: 35 Prospect Ave, Windsor, ON, N9C 3G3 and Aecon sites across Canada

Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent

Employment Conditions: Day, Morning, Evening

Start Date: As soon as possible

Travel Requirements: Travel required to Aecon's sites throughout Canada

Language: Must speak, read, and write in English

Key Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator will support the team on all aspects related to off-site steel structure fabrication and coordinate deliveries and storage on-site.

1. Review shop drawings
2. Review welding and fabricating procedures
3. Quantity take off
4. Review QC and QA documentation
5. Non-conformance management
6. Coordination of deliveries to site
7. Laydown area organization

Required Knowledge and Skills

2-3 years' experience in design-build construction projects, structural steel fabrication, Non-conformances, Canadian/US fabrication standards, and US welding standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Compensation and Benefits

$70,000 to $82,000 annually for 37.5 hours/week. Health benefits, income replacement benefits, investment plans, employee wellness tools, vacation leaves, and other benefits provided.

Working Conditions and Environment

Primary work location at 35 Prospect Ave, Windsor, ON with travel throughout Canada. Exposure to construction work site environment in all seasons. Relocation within Canada may be required.
