Responsibilities and Duties

  • Research and development of security intelligence
  • Support sensitive security situations.
  • Conduct desktop security assessments of global regions and site locations with elevated risk
  • Travel to other regions globally and to potential project sites and conduct ground assessments of potential security risks
  • Assess travel security risks for personnel travelling to remote locations and areas with elevated risks
  • Identify measures and develop security plans to mitigate and address various risks to personnel, project engagements and project sites
  • Support the development of proposals to identify the level of efforts and security deliverables to be prepared
  • Prepare detailed security assessment reports
  • Prepare detailed security and deployment plans and risk mitigation plans
  • Development of deployment execution plans for remote project, and in areas of elevated risk.
  • Provide technical input to project and construction execution planning.
  • Coordinate with project team to align deployment and security solutions
- on-site execution of deployment and security plans.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 15 years of military, or security intelligence experience.
  • Previous deployed operations experience is an asset
  • Able to operate in austere and remote locations
  • Security Certification and other Security related training and designations (CPP, PSP, PCiP etc.)
  • Highly motivated and ability to function with mínimal supervision
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team and fit into a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel globally
  • Ability to work on site on a rotational basis
  • Effective report writing skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must be Fluent in English (written and verbal). Additional language(s) is an asset
