How you will contribute
You are involved within the Production department working on various lines. You are a working leader responsible and accountable for organizing and motivating a strong team of workers in order to produce consistent quality of work and continuously produce the required volume of work to satisfy the production schedule

As a Production Lead Hand, you will:

  • Verify date-coding setup of ramekins, cartons, and cases, and metal detector.
  • Ensure the Pallets have the traceability factors.
  • Meet production standards on all assignments within a reasonable time.
  • Supervise line staff, train and instruct new staff on proper procedures, specifications, and requirements.
  • Perform any specified quality assurance checks designated for each task, function, or assignment.
  • Assure that all work assigned to the position is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions, and requirements.
  • Ensure that work safety, food safety, and personal safety requirements are met.
  • All other duties as required.

What will make you successful

  • Good communication skills written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • 3 years of previous experience in a production environment (preferably food manufacturing).
  • Ability to follow/give verbal & written instructions (in English).
  • Proven ability to direct others and coordinate a department in order to meet production deadlines in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow GMP and HACCP instructions.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills.

More about this role

Work schedule:
Two-week rotation of days, evenings, and nights. Monday to Friday.

Physical Demands

  • May be required to stand/sit for long periods of time.
  • May engage in frequent bending, stooping, or squatting.
  • Due to the environment, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions which include extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
  • Must be able to work in tight or enclosed spaces.
