Role and Responsibilities


Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for business analysis? We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Project Analyst to join the Global Hardware Engineering department and drive our decisions forward.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of stakeholders, analyze data to identify trends and opportunities, and make recommendations to leadership towards strengthening our business.

The Global Hardware Engineering department is responsible for providing hardware solutions for all CAE training devices.

Our multidisciplinary team, trained and dedicated to its task, has a vast know-how in many sectors such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and electronic engineering.


Our main mission is to design, customize and manage the development of cost-effective and innovative hardware solutions aligned with CAE's strategic plan and our clients' requirements.

We are set to deliver highly technological products and services that are part of a digital ecosystem.

Your challenges

  • Gather data and report meaningful analysis of project cost and schedule performance.
  • Identify and analyze business data, trends, and insights to inform strategy and decisionmaking
  • Be the focal for project financial matters with internal customers.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations in a timely manner to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Develop tools to visualize and monitor business performance.
  • Prepare reports to measure progress on key initiatives.
  • Drive monthly financial governance cycle to ensure financial performance.
  • Support the implementation of new business processes and systems.
  • Participates in the development of the business intelligence (BI) strategy.
  • Support maintenance of project databases and ensures data integrity.
  • Perform adhoc analysis and administrative tasks to support business operations.
  • Fosters an innovative and teamoriented work environment.
  • Commit to developing knowledge, continue to learn and share knowledge with internal customers and team members.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a business or project analyst role.
  • PMP or other project management certification is an asset.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft (Office, Power BI) and Project Management tools.
  • Knowledge of Planisware, Oracle, Ariba is an asset.
  • Knowledge of databases (Microsoft Access, SQL) is an asset.
