Phlebotomist - Toronto, Canada - Greenstaff Medical
Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples from patients
- Label and properly store blood samples for laboratory testing
- Follow established protocols and safety procedures during phlebotomy procedures
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort during the phlebotomy process
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper specimen collection and handling
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines
Skills:
- Proficient in phlebotomy techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate sample collection and labeling
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Familiarity with hospital or clinical settings

Fixed term contract

Salary:
$17.31-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
