- Safe Bed Program (Part Time, 12 Month Contract)
The Role and Opportunity:
The Canadian Mental Health Association is looking for a Residential Support Worker (RSW) for the Safe Bed Program.
The
Safe Bed Program provides
_ _24-hour on-site residential support and short-term case management services to individuals living with mental illness who have been involved with the criminal justice system.
CMHA Toronto proudly provides services to over 10,000 clients per year, in 31 programs at 13 locations across the City of Toronto.
Our services are delivered by a passionate and diverse team.Join us in providing high quality mental health and addictions services, advocating for a better mental health system, and providing education and mental health supports to clients across Toronto.
Hourly Rate:
$29.74
Work Location: 940 Wilson Avenue, North York
Work Hours:
Fridays from 10:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting to the Program Manager, the RSW work closely with the team to supporting clients. The RSW will work out of the Wilson Site and be required to work every Fridays from 10:00pm to 8:30am.
The RSW will also be required to maintain trusting, respectful and collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues; service providers and other community supports.
