We require the skills of a
Maintenance B Lubrication technician to join our talented Maintenance team, who will be responsible for equipment lubrication, control of contamination control, inspections and proactive maintenance of all lubricated mechanical systems.


DUTIES

  • Use of tools and equipment for routine and nonroutine lubrication functions. Draining and cleaning of reservoirs. Changing filters and breathers on reservoirs
  • Mechanical modification of systems, as directed, to facilitate sampling and filtration. Filing and topping off reservoirs. Operating filtration equipment.
  • Grease relubrication with dispensing equipment.
  • Print and fulfil planned lubrication activities. Update computerized scheduling systems to add notes, and request work orders.
  • Perform all work with adherence to safety and housekeeping procedures.
  • Participate in training programs to keep skills current and as determined by the needs of the Company.
  • Participate in the review of the current preventive maintenance program as well as in the preparation and execution of Preventive Plans to validate frequencies and estimated time to perform the job.
  • Perform additional duties as required by Supervision in compliance with relevant legislation and safety procedures.

DEAL:


  • Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS), Oil Monitor Analyst (OMA) or equivalent certification preferred with a minimum of 2 years experience working in a Manufacturing Environment;
  • Experience with continuous improvement (CI), Focused Improvement (FI), Breakdown Analysis (BDA) activities to determine root cause.
  • Mechanical Aptitude and willingness to assist in all maintenance projects as required;
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with the team, customers and suppliers about operational matters
