Lens Shapers Inc. is Canada's premier full-service optical lab. We are a manufacturer and supplier of ophthalmic lenses. Established in 2008, we provide complete service solutions for opticians, optometrists, and ophthalmologists across the nation.

We are currently hiring experienced
Lab Technicians (full-time & part-time) in the Surfacing department.


Hours:
Full-time: Mon to Fri: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Part-time: TBD

Full-time positions come with extended health benefits including medical and dental.


Duties & Responsibilities:


Surfacing:


  • Operating generator, finishing & polishing
  • Deblocking & washing lenses
  • Regular maintenance of equipment
  • Requires to be on your feet all day
  • Have 2+ years experience working as a lab technician
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent minimum
  • Have good basic math skills
  • Be able to read, write and speak fluent English
  • Be a team player
