GSG Protective Services has an opening for S3 NORAM Operations which is responsible for supporting the strategic goals of the S3 department, in particular the areas of integration and change management, strategic programs, training and communications.

The Specialist, S3 NORAM Operations coordinates and communicates with all corporate offices, helping to prioritize regional efforts and ensuring accountability.

The Specialist, S3 Operations works closely with the NORAM Int'l Manager to ensure alignment of all regional programs.


Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supports strategic initiatives, looking for opportunities to improve efficiency & effectiveness in order to drive the operational & change management cadence across the NORAM region.
  • Assists with regional communications to help create awareness of S3 services to the NORAM corporate offices.
  • Maintain NORAM Regional Sustainability initiatives and NORAM Business office sustainability projects
  • Support regional initiatives that have an impact on all functions.
  • Coordinate the availability of NORAM metrics and measurables for datadriven and riskbased decisionmaking.
  • Coordinates yearly reviews of a variety of emergency and disaster plans, policies, procedures, checklists, and training.
  • Works closely with internal and external partners to develop project initiatives.
  • Leads and participates in multidisciplinary group activities, meetings, and drills involving internal departments and outside agencies
  • Prepares correspondence, reports, presentations, and other materials related to S3 programs.
  • Supports emergency volunteers, including but not limited to floor wardens and S3 Champions.
  • Performs other S3 duties as assigned.

Specific Experience Required
Work history to include demonstration of each of the following:

  • Analytic and critical thinking skills with the ability to prepare reports
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to reach conclusions and approaches to problems
  • Demonstrated high level of competency with computer systems (e.g., Microsoft software, VMS platforms, social media monitoring, etc.)
  • Obtain an average typing speed of 45WPM
  • Ability to communicate effectively with IT and Security System professionals
  • Demonstrated ability to operate radio, telephone equipment and console monitors
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and willingness to assist the team when needed
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment while working under stressful conditions

Piracy

  • Supports prerelease theatrical screening activity across SPE business units, assessing security needs and scheduling appropriate services
  • Scheduling appropriate services for screenings in the North American Region
  • Insure timely and accurate payment of vendors and proper allocation of costs

Knowledge of the following:


  • 2+ years within the entertainment industry.
  • 3+ years with a security/safety focus.

Skills & Abilities:


  • Ability to manage difficult situations, leverage limited resources and design programs.
  • Proven organization and skills, with demonstrated ability to drive projects.
  • Strong computer and digital presentation skills.
  • Analytic and problemsolving capabilities.
  • Ability to engage and inspire stakeholders, gain buyin, and foster collaboration across the department and SPE.
  • Excellent presence and presentation skills.
  • Comfort with changing priorities and a fastpaced work environment

$21.00-$25.00 per hour
