Job Summary
The Director Financial Systems Planning provides leadership strategic direction development and enhancement of enterprise budgeting forecasting business analysis activities with responsibility for accurate recording applicable financial data.They support development execution corporate business unit level strategic plan quarterly forecasts monthly analysis lead formal business cases recommendations presentations Senior Management support strategic direction organization translate organization strategy risks opportunities annual business plans budgets manage resources accordingly coordinate plan execute annual planning process including compilation long-term consolidated financial plan annual budgets quarterly forecasts Work cross functional partners providing financial industry related expertise processes best practices value-added management achieve objectives maintaining fostering excellent relationships varied partners Lead development communication strategic recommendations financial planning targets senior leadership Evaluate financial implications decisions strategies within limits rate regulated environment Oversee forecasting process present results VP Finance CFO Oversee ongoing enhancement analytics quality improvements oversee governance maintenance software used support Financial Planning Analysis functions Power BI Power Automate Power Apps Cognos TM1 WDesk SharePoint oversee implementation maintenance Alectras Financial Data Mart Azure oversee development technology assets reporting dashboards enable operational efficiencies cross functional collaboration Recommend implement new enhanced policies procedures processes improve operational effectiveness Provide insights identify risks inform timing outcomes rate applications Overseer preparation financial information variance analysis support distribution rate applications participate application review process required Provides overall people leadership direction coaching development performance management resource planning Oversee department projects key initiatives ensure quality timely completion within budget Ensure compliance legislative regulatory Health Safety policies procedures standards Perform other duties assigned
